Women’s Pavilion at Methodist Hospital
Henderson Maternity & Gynecology Care
Methodist Hospital's Women's Pavilion features a host of forward
thinking design elements intended to enhance patient safety, comfort,
and peace of mind. New moms enjoy one of our 25 private rooms with sunlit
views of the Ohio River and surrounding landscape. Each room is laid out
exactly the same so nurses and physicians never have to wonder where supplies,
levers, or other necessary equipment can be found. The rooms are also
divided into three zones - the family zone, patient zone, and caregiver
zone. The three distinct areas allow family members to visit their loved
ones without interrupting the flow of the hospital.
Women visiting us for gynecological procedures will also benefit from sunlit
rooms with a scenic view. They also have the full attention of our highly
skilled physicians and staff who can care for our patients in a compassionate
and private environment. And if conditions change or require additional
support, they have all the resources of Methodist Hospital at hand.
Gynecology services include:
- Pap smears
- Pelvic pain treatment
- Fertility testing
- Abnormal period treatment
Neonatal Intensive Care
We strive to prepare ourselves for every possible situation, including
the birth of premature or ill babies. The most technologically advanced
area of the Women's Pavilion houses our tiniest and most critical
infants. Premature and seriously ill babies stay in our Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) where they benefit from 24-hour access to one of our
Neonatologists and constant care by nurses who specialize in neonatal care.
Know that your child will receive the constant care it needs if there are
any birthing complications, and we will do all in our power to see that
your baby leaves the Hospital happy and healthy.
