Attend the Union County High School “Pink Out” tailgate event
for Breast Cancer Awareness
Local businesses in Union County are coming together in support of breast
cancer awareness with a “Cruise In” pre-game tailgate event
promoting breast cancer awareness on Friday, October 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at
Union County High School. Methodist Hospital Union County Radiology and Surgical Services Departments
are co-sponsoring the event along with the Union County Health Coalition.
Join in the fun and stay for the football game when Union County plays
Antique cars, trucks and tractors are welcome to be a part of the cruise-in
and will be eligible to win trophies. Attendees will see everything from
an antique pink tractor to one that’s been designated a “cancer
awareness” tractor especially dedicated to those battling childhood

Appointment times for mammograms at Methodist Hospital Union County can
be set-up during the event.
Pink T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies for adults and children are available
for purchase through Friday, September 29. Short-sleeved shirts are $12,
sweatshirts are $15 and hoodies are $20. Extended sizes to 5XL are available
for an additional $2. Order forms can be obtained Monday through Friday

All donations and proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society’s
Relay for Life event and the Union County Survivor Dinner Celebration.
