Methodist Hospitals Womens Pavilion

Methodist Hospitals Womens Pavilion features a host of forward thinking design elements intended to enhance patient safety, comfort, and peace of mind. New moms enjoy one of our 25 private rooms with sunlit views of the Ohio River and surrounding landscape. Each room is laid out exactly the same so nurses and physicians never have to wonder where supplies, levers, or other necessary equipment can be found. The rooms are also divided into three zones - the family zone, patient zone, and caregiver zone. The three distinct areas allow family members to visit while feeling and remaining clear of necessary patient care.

Women visiting us for gynecological procedures will also benefit from sunlit rooms with a scenic view. They also have the full attention of our highly skilled physicians and staff who can care for these women in a compassionate and private environment. And if conditions change or require additional support, they have all the resources of Methodist Hospital at hand.

The most technologically advanced area of the Womens Pavilion will house our tiniest and most critical infants. Premature and seriously ill babies stay in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) where they benefit from 24-hour access to one of our Neonatologists and constant care by nurses who specialize in neonatal care.
