The Methodist Tradition

Methodist Hospital, in keeping with its Christian heritage, exists to provide a broad-based healthcare delivery system. In partnership with our medical staff, the focus will be on compassionate, high-quality and cost-effective services that address mental, spiritual and physical needs, and work to improve the health status of the people in the communities served.
A time of illness for you or a loved-one can be a turning point in your life. It can be a time of crisis, sorrow, anxious concern, and an over-whelming feeling of helplessness. Every day, dedicated Methodist Hospital employees provide healthcare of the highest quality, in a professional, secure, compassionate environment. From Physicians to Maintenance Technicians, from Nurses to Housekeeping Assistants, our patients are provided an atmosphere of respect and treated with dignity to facilitate the healing process physically, mentally, and spiritually. In time of loss family and friends are provided comfort and solace by a caring, well-trained staff.
Our Chaplaincy Services are always available to provide counseling and comfort to patients and family members. When faced with difficult decisions, Methodist Hospital's Chaplain Staff and its Chapel can be a source of spiritual comfort and support.
As Executive Director of Methodist Hospital, I am always available to meet with patients and/or family members to discuss services, concerns, and answer questions. I can be contacted at (270) 827-7501 or by email at bbegley@methodisthospital.net. I look forward to hearing about your experiences with Methodist Hospital, as well as your suggestions, questions, or concerns.
Sincerely,
Bruce D. Begley
Executive Director
