Prevention & Wellness
Sharing Prevention and Wellness with Our Communities
Methodist Hospital recognizes the importance of not only treating serious
conditions when they arise but taking preventative measures to prevent
such health conditions from ever occurring. Our focus is on providing
accessible health services, as well as educating and encouraging our community
to engage in better health practices. One of the ways we do this is through
our Prevention and Wellness Services.
The goal of Prevention and Wellness Services (PAWS) is to support a culture
of health in our hospital and the community. We strive to change workplace
culture by providing services that will improve overall health and reduce
the number of chronic health issues.
Committed to Improving Health & Wellness
Methodist Hospital, as an organization, has made a commitment to focus
on the health and wellness of its employees and the communities it serves.
The Prevention and Wellness Services Department at Methodist also works
to build relationships with area businesses to positively impact the health
and wellbeing of those within our community and workplaces. Many of these
partnerships have benefitted from a more engaged culture of wellness,
improving the health of employees and the businesses themselves.
